The Art of Focaccia Bread

Learn to make colorful and delicious vegetable focaccia at the Flour Barn! Focaccia is a staple at the bakery and we can’t wait to share with you the secret to the most flavorful bread as well as amazing sandwiches and delicious pizzas! Learn how to make sweet focaccia as well as savory. Everyone will bake, decorate, and take home their own focaccia to enjoy. All of your ingredients as well as refreshments will be provided.

Homemade Scones and Butter Board 

Learn all about making tender and delicious scones, and why they’re perfect for every occasion! From sweet to savory, we can’t wait to bake up our favorites with you! Then, we will create a decadent, gourmet butter board to perfectly pair with your scones. Each participant will leave with a batch of scones and a butter board. All supplies and ingredients as well as refreshments will be provided!

Back to school basics

Come learn some homemaking basics at the Flour Barn Bakery! We will be learning how to make homemade greek yogurt, whole wheat sandwich breads, and granola bars so you can feel super proud every time you’re packing lunches! Learn how these three simple skills can really change the way your family eats!

Artisan Sourdough Class

Sourdough starter is a truly amazing thing, and in this class we will learn all about creating and maintaining a starter and then turn it into a beautiful, crusty loaf of artisan bread. This is a hands on, 3 hour class and each participant will leave with a loaf of bread as well as sourdough starter. Charcuterie is provided for refreshment

Bread Bowls and Soup

When the air starts to turn cool it’s time to make a big pot of soup and bread bowls! Come join us and learn to make hearty bread bowls that stand up warm and delicious soups and stews. We will also be making pots of our favorite soup together and going over some tips and tricks for making the most flavorful soup completely from scratch.

 

We will finish off the evening by sharing a meal, and each participant will leave with the bread bowls they made and a portion of soup.
